An 8 jo (eight tatami mats, about 13 square meters) tea room, Mizuya, Yoritsuki, bathroom, Koshikake-machiai and Roji. (for those who are thinking ‘what are they!?? —> please see the previous entry Part 3 or online dictionary Jaanus

  It took about 3 months to transform a bedroom into the complete tea ceremony facility. It could not have been built without professionals such as carpenters, plasterers, joiners, tatami fitters, painters, gardeners, electricians, and plumbers who apply traditional Japanese techniques to their work.

I’ll introduce you to Japanese tea ceremony next time.

八畳広間のお茶室と水屋、寄付、トイレ、腰掛待合、露地の工事で期間は約3ヶ月。以前は夫婦の寝室として使われていた部屋をリフォームしました。
大工、左官、建具、経師、畳、植木、塗装、電気、水道など日本の伝統技術を担っている多くの職人さんの腕によって生み出された作品です!
